Jim McIntyre BA LLB

Jim McIntyre

Jim has been a commercial lawyer for over 20 years, the first 6 with a Sydney CBD commercial firm practising extensively in commercial litigation, running trials and appearing in all the NSW civil courts, various specialist tribunals and the Land & Environment Court, Federal and High Courts.

Jim attained specialist accreditation in commercial litigation in 2006, before joining HBL Business & Property Lawyers in Port Macquarie back in 2007. In recent years he has increasingly focused on commercial transaction and advice work, maintaining a keen awareness of the need to ensure clients are appropriately protected in the event of difficulties or disputes.

Jim provides services in the areas of property and business transactions, leases, employment law, commercial dispute resolution and intellectual property protection. He also has a particular interest in building and construction matters. Jim’s personal interests include his young family, playing the piano, reading good books and being involved in a local church.
